Jason Deacon  President

Jason started Low Cost IT in July 2003 after spending years in the corporate IT arena gaining corporate experience working for companies such as Stellar Call Solutions Pty Ltd and AAPT Mobile Pty Ltd. During this time he specialised in Microsoft Server Technologies and Citrix Metaframe (Thin client Solutions). He currently has 3 repair centres online between the Gold Coast and Brisbane and a team of professional technicians whose skills cover a wide range of IT related areas. Their mission is to deliver quick and professional IT solutions and to assist clients in the effective planning of their IT infrastructure. They do this by building a strong relationship with their clients and ensure that they have a positive experience whenever dealing with them.

Margie Gardner
Vice President

Margie spent the first 33 yrs in Adelaide and is one of eleven children, her previous employment was at the Hyatt Adelaide. She then bought the Sign a Rama business and went to West Palm Beach USA for 2 weeks training. Margie was a mentor on the advanceburleigh.com website.
She recently won the top achievement in marketing at the Sign a Rama Australasian expo as well as the Sign a Rama mentor for 15 Qld stores. In May of this year she received the rotary community service award for 2007.

Roy Gerards
Vice President

 Roy has over 15 years of experience in general management, sales, and marketing of information technology products and services. As the founder of Digital Dreams in 1995, Roy started on his own to provide small businesses with I.T. solutions by finding out what their needs were and fulfilling their requirements. This proved to be successful and the business grew over the next few years to specialise in the design, development and hosting of business websites and Roy is leading the company to constant new heights as clients benefit from the high quality products and services provided.

Rita Duval
 Committee Member

Rita Duval is the Gold Coast Licensee for Leadership Management Australia, a national Training Organisation which specialises in developing the leadership, performance and productivity of key people within business, government and not-for-profit organisations.
Rita has had over 20 years’ experience working in line management, human resources and industrial relations positions in a wide range of industries, including several years in executive HR Manager roles, plus 10 years teaching and training experience. She has served on the boards of community and not-for-profit organisations and is a member of Rotary.
She holds a Masters degree in Strategic HR Management and several other management qualifications.
Working in small groups and one-on-one with individuals to help people achieve their potential and develop their personal and professional leadership, provides the ‘buzz’ that keeps her enthusiastic and excited about the work she does.
